CHAIR FRENCH  announced the  consideration of  SB 239.  [Version S                                                              
was  before the  committee.]  The bill  was  heard previously  and                                                              
public testimony was taken and closed.                                                                                          
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR KEVIN  MEYER, sponsor  of SB 239,  asked if the  committee                                                              
had received  the updated information  about the number  of court-                                                              
ordered ignition interlock devices that have been installed.                                                                    
                                                                                                                                
CHAIR FRENCH confirmed  that the committee received  the memo that                                                              
pointed out  that 1,245  ignition interlocks  had been  installed,                                                              
which is closer to what he would have thought.
